The gameplay involves the players taking part in Strategic Tactical Advanced Alien Response (STAAR) military invasion. Try to stop aliens from taking over the secret Area 51 military base in Nevada. This takes the player through several sectors of the naval base, including a tarmac, warehouse, tunnels, and office buildings.

There is a capability of 2 simultaneous players as well. A traditional light gun shooter game, however, some things make this game different from other light gun shooter games. For one thing, there is no reloading; the player never runs out of ammunition. Also, evil characters will pop up, and you will have to shoot them. You do have the occasional good character will pop up, and you cannot shoot them.
